One of our impressive native trees, the pohutakawa, resplendent in red, is a traditional kiwi signal that summer holidays beckon. And those red blooms, out on show in our recent travels, bring us to our last posting for 2016.
The FoodPath NZ ventured to many different parts of this wonderful country during this year, hunting down New Zealand's food treasures. And treasure we have found indeed.
Our overwhelming impression as 2016 comes to a close is the good fortune we have with New Zealand’s fresh, diverse and honest food. There is such an impressive array of local food producers out there, creating some amazing and authentic products. And it is so delightful to come across a farmgate or shop, or a bustling local market, where we get a chance to buy from the source.
Thank you for being with us this year. We are really delighted to have you onboard, travelling The FoodPath NZ alongside us. And our heartfelt thanks also go to all our local food artisans, who put so much hard work, dedication and care into their outstanding food creations. We think all of you are just amazing.
There has been much change for The FoodPath NZ team this year, and we are certainly looking forward to a whole lot more to come in 2017. Our wishes to everyone for a safe and happy festive season, and all the joy New Zealand summertime can bring - and we’ll be back with more in 2017.
